Having struggled to find African art in which they felt represented, sisters Absera & Elilta strove to make African art globally accessible while showcasing the continent's diverse and rich cultural heritage, encouraging a sustainable connection between art and environment.

Our goal was to craft a bold, modern brand identity that challenges outdated perceptions of Africa while providing a clean and understated backdrop that lets the artwork take centre stage. The design celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of emerging African art without falling into clichés or compromises. The messaging emphasises the art’s power to inspire, provoke thought, and foster a deeper global appreciation for African culture.
